Thanks to my access as a player to the USTA National League Championship, I used this opportunity to showcase the USTA NorCal Leagues to boost their membership numbers.

I partnered with the USTA National team to take over their Instagram account while I was playing the national championship, giving USTA NorCal exposure to over 150K followers.

My coworker and I teamed up to plan a social media campaign on the USTA NorCal social media channels:

For 3 and a half days, I produced Instagram stories showing the competitive but fun and friendly sides of USTA NorCal leagues

We recruited captains and players to take over USTA NorCal's Instagram account over the 6 weekends of the national championships to show behind the scenes. All content was monitored to stay on brand but give an authentic view of the product. This helped our engagement go up and help retain and bring in new memberships. SEE THE INSTAGRAM STORY HERE!

This social media campaign was coupled with blog posts to recap the national championships, which were highlighted in the USTA NorCal newsletter that went out to over 45,000 members.
